Is Something Wrong With My Brain?

Posted by engineface on March 6, 2011, at 1:31:29

I have a problem and kinda wanted to know if there could be something wrong with me mentally. I have found that it is very hard for me to become emotionally attached to someone. Basically I can't bring myself to "love" anyone. Like I'll say to my friends I love you and things like that but not like LOVE. I can't be in a relationship because I have also discovered that I like the thought of being in a relationship, but I don't want to be in one. Like I like having someone I can trust and who wants to be with me, but I can't bring myself to love them or want to be in a relationship with them other than being friends. So I just wanted to know if this is normal or if I'm a little bit messed up lol. Thanks for your guys' help!

I wouldn't necessary say there is something "wrong." But I think i might understand how you feel.

I have a lot of trust issues i think...and I think i've learned to be independent from a young age so it's hard for me to depend on somebody else....do you have a T you talk with about this?
