Until a few days ago, the premier of New South Wales was a theology graduate from somewhere in Ohio.
It didn't help her in the last election.
Her father, who had come to stay with her, said he found NSW politics demanding and difficult, which is my response to US politics.Which has nothing particularly to do with Gillian Welch, except for trying to find something lovely to make life bearable in this world.
