I got MiFi (portable WiFi) for my touchpad so that I can surf the web anywhere. I got locked into a 2 year contract of $37 for 1GB. I then discovered that it's a really bad deal. The ipad has a 5GB plan for only $35!
Since I only activated my MiFi yesterday, I had 15 days to cancel the contract without penalty so I called my communications company to cancel. They then gave me this deal, $30 for 6GB on my regular phone and an extra $10 to share it with my MiFi. So $40 for 6GB! I'll be locked into a 3 year contract now, but this is a pretty good deal for 6GB!
With 6GB, I can watch youtube without worrying. With only 1GB previously I would have to worry all the time about going over my limit and being charged riduculous fees.
I'm really happy about my new plan!
