Ahh..it took a little while to get used to, but like others have said, it is what it is..and it's here to stay.I think the mobilization of millions around the world has helped break Dictators, and improved Democracy. I am 43 and I totally love Twitter, Facebook, my Blackberry, Instant messages..etc.

Not me Dagnab it! I'm totally unfit for modern life. The only good thing about them is people make fewer phone calls now.

Don't know what it is, don't have a smartphone as the new technology seriously doesn't interest me. I will stick with facebook from a desktop. Phillipa

I manage to feel out of step with modern life, even though I do love gadgets and a/c. And if I could replace nearly all phone calls with emails, I'd be delighted.
Texts and tweets I don't care for as much. It's like a new language I'm not sure I want to learn. I can never even tell who wrote any given tweet. I think I just figured out how to expand conversations on twitter. Maybe that will help.
This is the end of the thread.
