Hi everybody,
I've just been wondering lately, how to plan for anything in my life, on a long-term basis, such as deciding to return to school or even dating, when I *think* my antidepressant is working then suddenly, boom, it's not. My med was working for about a year and I started on some long-term ventures, now it's not and I have lost money on an apt, have to move again, among other things.
How does everybody else do it?

I guess it depends on how bad the depressions get. I know that when I went to school anxiety disappeared as was so engaged in studying. Phillipa

What is the downside of making long term plans? Making them, of course, with an eye to what has and hasn't been beneficial to you in the past. For example, I might choose to avoid making plans that involved a lot of stress because I know stress has caused a lot of problems for me in the past. But what would be the downside in making plans for the future that would be beneficial to me?
I can see the downside of not moving forward, based on the fear of relapse.
This is the end of the thread.
