How are you doing? By which I don't mean are you doing swimmingly. The process of losing a dear friend is not an easy one, and I know how intense the pain can be.
But are you ok?

I've numbed my feelings as much as possible. Going numb got me through may years.
I've been able to lose Jules because in life and death I did the right thing. I gave it all and he was my bud.
But do I still cry? Yes! Because I lost a best friend.
I'm thing of maybe getting two kittens in maybe two months. Need to think it over. Thanks for asking.

Thanks. A high school friend told me she had a cat that lived for 25 years.

Life is seldom fair. It seems as if the furry friends I love the most live the shortest time.
You did do the right thing for him. And while no cat can take his place, kittens are quite a distraction.

I've already been looking at cats. : ) Do I get two or one? Any ideas on that one?
If I do get more kitties I'll go to the shelter or wherever. To each their own but I'm not big on paying for a pet when thousands need saving.I think Jules would totally endorse it.

Not Dinah but two so they can play together. Preferably from same litter? Some lucky kitties will soon be saved and have a loving home. Phillipa

Excellent thing to do Phil, and Jules certainly would endorse. Two would be alot fun. I have a little dog, and a cat. They are the same size, and I watch them interact-keeps me entertained, keeps me laughing. And there's always one around for a hug. : )
