I'm not entirely clear as to whether or not this is permitted by the board rules, so I apologize in advance if it isn't.
I understand many of you are most likely in financial need and do have incredibly mixed feelings on this, but I am in quite a desperate situation and was looking to raise a modest amount for a Riluzole trial in order to help my disabling, refractory OCD.
If anyone was in a position to contribute, even a small amount, I would dearly, dearly appreciate it. As I am not a citizen where I live, I do not qualify for any form of government assistance, nor will health insurance contribute towards medication costs. What's more, I sadly cannot turn to any friends/family for help, since most will not acknowledge the reality of my situation.

thank you kindly

Thanks for respecting the board rules. The idea here is support, but not the financial type.
I know it's not what you asked for, but would you accept emotional support? Or is there any information that might be helpful?

Of course, emotional support is always welcome, and if I can think of any additional information that might be helpful, I'll be sure to ask, though nothing springs to mind at present.
This is the end of the thread.
