if you don't want to answer that - then i accept that.
i just... feel confused sometimes.
i want you to know that if i did use to know you under a different name... whatever it may be... then i certainly don't think any the less of you.
i only ask because it can help get the conversation started. e.g., if i could ask you about therapy or how your kid is or how your relationship with your SO is going or... whatever might be appropriate. that was all.

nope! that's always been my name :) and I don't think it's an inappropriate thing to ask at all. it seemed like chat was acting up.

I think it was my internet connection. We have been having a lot of problems with it. It seems to work reliably when the service center is open and it seems to not work when the service center is shut (evenings and weekends).
That being said, I've had issues with chat not updating / refreshing for me before (unless I switch rooms / log out then back in). Some of that seemed to be going on...
Hope we get to chat again soon. I will enjoy getting to know you :-)

I quit using chat because of the refresh problem. I suppose I could try another browser.

I have a lot of problems with chat not loading now. I click change room, but it still doesn't load. It's very frustrating.
