Always a relief to gradually be feeling better

Posted by Partlycloudy on July 8, 2014, at 8:30:39

No matter the circumstances. Thank goodness my depression wanes. Though I really ramped up my use of meditation to help soothe, focus, and calm my anxious mind.
I don't think it's a case of Whatever Works as much as we know THIS works, but you must practise daily. I practise more often than that.
It can be for anywhere from a few moments to half an hour, but the benefits are clear for me. Oh, and breathing. That really helps to think about it.

I'm sad to see you downhearted. Have you tried meditation lately? There are many free videos on YouTube for anxiety. We can't ever get back the time, but it is never too late to start feeling better. There was an inspiring 86 year old man in the recovery place I was in. Almost blind, but full of wisdom. He commanded a lot of respect just for getting sober at his age.
Something to ponder.
