I just had the best idea ever: There is a mental illness hotline close to where i will be living in 2015, where affected people have an ear for and give advice to mentally ill callers.
There is an initial workshop for education and continuing workshops to keep up.
I am considering to leave the rehab place i am in and go to assisted living now if i will be accepted to do the job a couple of hours a day. All i need is to be occupied with a meaningful activity. I think if this is ensured i will be okay outside in the world.
Sometime in early 2015, i will move into my childhood house with a couple other affected people. I am now thinking to stay in another place like that (assisted living) until the childhood house is free.
As opposed to staying in the rehab place until the house is free in 2015. I just cant seem to find activity thats meaningful for me there.

Those that hurt the most help the most. About going home....
i bought the house i grew up in so long ago
i looked around and even outside nothing had changed
Furniture bar stools refrigerator beds, the same
I went to my bedroom, opened the window
Laid down on my twin bed and listened to football practice
KEYS on my transistor radio, Motown and the rest
Funny how good the music sounded on that radio
Outside june bugs, crickets, and lightening bugs
china berry tree, clothesline, the shed where i smoked
i thought, life was so simple then, but it wasn't
Anytime that you have three or more people, it's difficult
Small town where everyone knows when you f*rt
and even when you're about to
It's too quiet I turn the air conditioner on
My stepfather's car pulls into the carport, I'm home.

Hmm they are not answering. Maybe i will call again and ask why they didnt respond and if they are not interested.
I dont want to be a stalker, but i would really like to do this kind of volunteer work. My therapists and pdoc think i would be able to do it, since they say that i handle my business well nowadays.
Hmmm...

I'm not sure if I could detach enough in an effort to keep stress from taking me down too. It sounds interesting to me too but I'd be afraid of too many calls from people that need help but refuse to listen. You know the type? I do. Whoops, bad connection. bye

Hey Lamadge,
I'm thinking about volunteering at a hotline like that too in 2015. I know you wrote that a couple months ago, but did you have any luck with contacting anyone?
