Today I went to the library and took out a couple of books. One is called "First you build a cloud." It's about physics. And the other books is called "The best non-required reading of 2014." It's an anthology picked out by high schoolers. So far It's good. Not great, to me, but I just started. At the very least, it's interesting.
So, I have a lot of goals. Be more social, make friends, overcome social anxiety, be kind to others, make a gratitude list, read more, etc. But I have 3 big goals: get a job, move out of my parents' house, go to school. All 3 of these things I want, but when I start to work on them, I'm like, screw this. lol. My therapist said I should start with just one. So I chose work. But now I'm not sure anymore. My brain is ridiculous.

Goals should be SMART - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely. Get a job is too unwieldy. Better would be - write my resume or research openings or meet with a career counselor to explore options.
Having too many goals and having unwieldy goals means nothing gets done. Make friends. Too vague. How? Better would be things like - find a volunteer opportunity that is social or go to meet up.com and try to find an activity I can join.
Keep trucking.

Hey Baseball, thanks for your response. I have heard they need to be specific before actually, so thanks for the reinforcement on that. I have never heart of S.M.A.R.T., though, cool acronym.
I went to a poetry reading with my friend yesterday. It went well and I was glad i went. We had a good night.
