So my mother tells me not to have compassion with myself.
Literally.
She shows ZERO compassion. All my life.
She eases her bad conscience by helping refugees. The poor refugees. Her son? F*ck him and his "self compassion".

Ok not all my life, but in most if not all key situations. "No compassion". I remember a nazi saying that in a movie when a kid had to beat someone who had already lost the fight and was on the ground.

I can identify with that.
My mother had bipolar and is / was very narcissistic. Most of the time, her mind is on her (or like your mother, is trying to help refugees). Every now and then, she tries to overcompensate and just becomes intrusive...and there is "something wrong" just because I push back.
This is the end of the thread.
