I think a big trigger is trying to live with someone else. LOL. Maybe that's why my marriages ended.
Enjoying Sunday evening on my own.

My sky is mostly cloudy, but there is still a ray of hope poking through.

I, too, am a repeat offender. I cannot even imagine having to accommodate another person right now. Family members bug me about dating and I look at them like they're insane. Do you not "see" me? lol
I'm fine with independence. At least for now.
Glad your skies are clear!

Solitude is under-rated. There's way too much pressure to be in some situation as close as possible to a nuclear family. I always wished there were more options. Enjoy your independence!

Since I left a relationship of 37 years two years ago, I have never felt better. I don't enjoy solitude so much, but I enjoy being able to plan things with friends, do things I enjoy, go to 12-step meetings without worrying about whether he and I are spending enough time together or his complaining that I'm never home, am spending too much money, etc. Being single is great.
