Tangent - The Raven

Brilliant poet, Edgar Allen Poe:

And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamplight over him streaming throws his shadow on the floor; And my soul from out that lies floating on the floor shall be lifted - Nevermore

I recall memorizing a large portion of this poem when I was a teen. Now only the first stanza remains in memory.

Poe may not be the best literature for a depressed, anxious teen, but like a moth to the flame, there I went.

He knows how to create momentum. I don't know what it is called. There is a compulsion or something with the rythmn.
