Well, I could really use some advice, thanx. I live in a basement apartment, and a "friend" lives upstairs. Well, he and I didn't initially get along., but eventually. Now, he has a high-strung, easily angered, temper and has verbally assaulted me at times. But, he is also a leacher. Over the past year or so I have given him many of my pills (Which is the only reason he seems to hang around me) as well as money (some which he paid back), but also food. Now, I am on disability, and he is as well. And he likes to drink, and that opens inhibitions, so violence occurs.It's disgusting, and I hate it!! So, I am not giving him *anything* more...too bad for him!!!

Sounds like a scary situation. Do you have a separate entrance? Id put a key lock on door to upstairs, and only use separate entrance/exit. Maybe he will get the hint.
