They are protesting outside parliament, some of 'em.
They are clear that their message is 'you said that we would open up with 90 per cent vaccination rate but you have your 90 per cent vaccination rate and now you are not respecting less than 10 per cent who feel strongly enough about not being vaccinated to really want you to respect their informed consenting decision not to have one'.
We got the target the government set for herd immunity...
Then they got to be all about compliance.
THere are quite a few protesting outside parliament.
The politicians are... Being very dismissive. Saying it is just a few, they are only a small minority, their opinion therefore does not matter (NZ is rule by angry mob, didn't you know? if your mob isn't big enough or angry enough then you lose).
The speaker of the house... Who doesn't listen so well... Ordered the people to be tresspassed and the sprinklers to be turned on. Because they were camping on the grass. They were organised enough to have set up portaloos and the brought tents and cooking equipment.
So they started digging trenches to divert the water. THey put the sprinklers on soak to try and flood the ground out from under them. They put road cones on them to hold down the water and dug trenches (little ones) for the water to drain away.
They put down straw.
Farmers. Used to flooded paddocks. NZ are cattle... To the slaughter. Didn't you know?
They are collecting up names of people who think of themselves as disabled to attend an online protest tomorrow.
Wonder if they will hand out to us a little token or something that identifies us as first victims of our hospital over-whelm that hasn't happened yet.
First for the great cull.
After so many years of them encouraging the people kept on welfare to breed us more people beed us more gamma babies breed us more gamma babies breed us more gamma babies htey are going to set about culling the herd back because too many people. NOt enoguh to go around. Not once the politicians have what they want and the DHB leaders and...
There never will be enough to go around. Principle number 1 of economics. There never will be enough for genuine need to be met. Thats the first assumption of anybody our parliament will listen to.
What???? Says Trevor Mallard, (the speaker).
They put decoy ducks out. Mallard is a kind of duck.
They put decoy ducks out by the trenches.
They blow whistles of whatever to make duck sounds.
The noises the duck hunters make trying to lure the ducks out so they can get to a-shootin.
Waiting for the speaker of the house.
lol.
What good use of police resources.. The politicians and parliament have decided they are worth hoarding up and diverting from the people... Hoarding up to protect the parliament lawn.
No army.
The police they have diverted from doing work to protect the people... They are waiting to make rugby scrums trying to outnumber the protestors. All set for the rolling maul of police against farmers, I suppose, and the like, who know enough to bring portaloos and dig trenches and spread straw while the government treats them like animals for the slaughter.
For sure.
I think there needed to be threats from overseas to stop the local tow companies from towing their vehicles.
Because the NZ parliament keeps the local tow companies workers in such conditions of deprivation they will do (as John Key planned) anything anything anything outside a nightclub for $25. Including towing the vehicles of people protesting that the government got their 90 per cent compliance with vaccination now it's time to stop force treating people on an involuntary basis.
It's time to honor that people have the right to refuse 'medical treatments'.
Which the government will not do.
I mean everybody knows that chris hipkins (and his mommy with her ministry of education contracts) know what is best for you.
Clearly.
I mean... Haven't you heard him explaining a graph??

The problem I have is that it is not Trevor Mallard's job (as speaker of the house) to decide that the sprinklers should be turned on because you think that the silly sausages outside will become uncomfortable and go home if they get a little muddy.
The problem I have is that he has been (the one and only) speaker of the house for a very long time.
When it became time for people to wear face masks it became obvious that he's mostly deaf and relying on lip reading.
The problem, however, is that he is just one man and he's been doing it for ages. In his sheepskin throne which is f*ck*ng laughable... But when you look at how he handles things like 'disorder' or several people talking at once. Whether he thinks that interjections are warranted or unreasonable. Etc etc etc. He is one man who has weilded too much power in parliament.
He has given far too much leeway or free reign to 'letting the boys be boys' talking over other people etc and come down far too harshly shutting down diverse candidates who are more humble or nervous or even respectful in their demenor. Etc. He has wielded too much power diverting attention from real issues that are being discussed in order for him to be the centre of attention getting to chide or chastise politicians for their conduct...
There really should be more than one speaker and they should be on rotation or similar. There needs to be a diversity in the candidates. Different races. Different ages. Different genders etc. An element of randomness. But where the speakers are learning from teh other speakers, too. Learning to be better. Seeing how they handled things. Thinking about how certain things that each one of them does is really a genuine strength of them and trying to emulate that.
There is no sense of progression or developmoent or working together here. There is just one f*ck*ng idiot throwing his weight around... Protecting a small group of idiot cronies who treat the NZ population as imbicels or slaughter animals.
While they pat themselves on the back for their positions on their sheepskin thrones.
And the protestors blow their duck lures...
Oh yeah, they do.
I wonder how much longer before things come down to guns. And what kind of overseas support the people of NZ will have then.
Shane Reti (NZ politicain) is busy passing himself off as a politician of Tonga? Asking (ordering?) Musk to move satellites into positions that were paid for for Tonga occupation? Is that how it goes? Some rogue ex-American got the royal family of Tonga to buy up sattelite space... But of course we can't launch anything in to orbit...
Rocket lab is simlarly a US enterprise... I don't know that they have the capacity to launch anything into orbit, either.
Nobody with the capaccity to do math or science can function in NZ (nobody with the capacity ot do much of anything.... I mean arts and culture and languages etc are also off the table)...
Just litensing to the speaker of the house bleeting...

It is a strange thing that happens to some people when the face masks go on...
To start with I thought my mother couldn't hear me when she couldnt' see my lips move.
But she learned to turn her listening ears on.
There is an element of that in Trevor Mallard.
He's out of habit / practice. Because he's never had any need or inclincation. NO motivation to turn his ears on, at all.
This is the end of the thread.
