there is a plan to 'earthquake strengthen' the wellington public library.
the art diagrams make it look like it will be comprised of everything other than books.
public open spaces with benches... theatre sort of performance rooms. offices.
i didn't see any books.
re-defining library.
like they've redefined university.
and literacy.
and numeracy.
and so on.
nothing to see here, people. no people home...
