Hi Studenthussy,
My toes are freshly dried from completing a certificate program in July.
Baby steps lead to leaps at least for me.

just getting through the class will be reward enough. living on disability, independently thank goodness, means that life is financially simple but at least it is a life of one's own and of one's choosing. not of supposed to or have to or should because there is another person to factor into decisions.
for better or for worse it is a one woman show being cobbled together. would rather endure this period of time than continue fooling self about 'partnership' or 'relationship' when it comes to matters most important. school is not for anyone else. it isn't to impress, it isn't to boast, it is so that life's options remain open, available and possible.
not being on the dime or dependency of another makes this challenging time tolerable. knowing it is an essential building block for creating heathier future possibilities makes the drudgery bearable....just barely though.
p.s. poet...wine wasn't a study tool this term but that's due to med change and the inability to remain awake long enough to imbibe! ; ) hope the wine helped your semester along!
