I am a computer science major but am curious about the comparison between computer information systems and computer science. Exactly what is the difference? I understand that there is more math and science involved in computer science rather than CIS. Also, does anyone know why some universities have students take 3 levels of calculus and other colleges make students take 2 levels of calculus???
thanks : )

Sorry, but I have no idea about the computer science thing...
But the calculus... requirements for every degree at every uni are different. Just like every class is different. One uni might cover the same material in 2 calc classes what the other covers in 3.
This is the end of the thread.
