I have to take this very boring class on how to do research at our school's library. I feel like I am know what I am doing but I am getting marked down because the instuctor doesn't explain things very well and it is hard to understand him because english is his 2nd language. In his online instructions, he writes how he talks and sometimes it is missing words or makes no sense at all. I know I shouldn't wait until the last minute to summit my assignment, then I could ask questions, so it is partly my fault. It is only one credit and meets once a week, but we have homework due every week that we do outside of class. I feel like this one little class is going to mess up my GPA and it sucks.

It can't mess up your GPA too much. I know you have some crazy high GPA, and one class can bring it down, but as long as your marks C's you should be able to recover from it by getting like an A+ in another class. But I totally understand the feeling. It is frustrating

yeah, I have a 4.0, I am told I have the highest GPA for my class, I am nuts, I know!
My T who was an overachiever ( i never was), told me I need to get a B or something to take the pressure off myself. He is right, but I just can't do it because I feel if I am capable, I should at least try. Once you get even an A-, you no longer have a 4.0. I know it is probably going to happen some time, probably this lame class.

Happy, I am so jelous! HOw I wish I could get anywhere close to a 4.0! Or even a 3.0 (though I am close to that... I think). How are you doing in that class? Are you getting like C's and such? That would be hard to take after A's!!!

Hi Gee!
Yeah, I have a 4.0, but you have to understand I was NEVER a 4.0 student growing up for various reasons. So I am as surprised as anyone! lol
I am doing better in the class, I have just had to do my homework earlier and take it to the teacher and ask if this is what he wants. I know I am being a pest, but it is saving my grade in the class. This class has to be the most boring and frusterateing class ever, I do pay attention, but it is horrible. I refuse for the class to get the best of me! lol I am glad it is just once a week.
Good job on your GPA, you should be proud of yourself! How are your classes going?

Yay Happy! I'm glad you're doing better.
My classes are okay. So much work though. I'm going home for the long weekend this weekend, and my only thoughts are "When am I going to get all my studying in with all the people in the house?" I'm thinking if I get up at 7, and start in on it, that should give me until about 9 or 10 before everyone gets up, and possibly until noon before anyone wants me for anything. I just wanna go back to first and second year classes. My multi discipline class, has people from every department and faculty in to, and some of them are so darn smart! The things they say blow me away. But I guess, while they've been taught to think in more complex and educated ways, I've been taught how to think in a more simplified way. So, it always blows me away. I come out of that class totally exhausted from trying to keep up them.
How are your other classes? Has yoga improved at all?
This is the end of the thread.
