buprenorphine to oxycodone conversion?

Posted by deezy on September 15, 2003, at 22:04:13

was wondering if anyone out there had an approximate buprenorphine to oxycodone conversion (i.e. mg bup to mg oxy) I will recieve some bupe soon and am wondering how much to start at. Thanks,
Deezy
p.s. the bupe is to wean me off of opiates all together, hopefully within a week the lexapro will help with the depression, and the bupe will minimize the phys effects.

From what I understand, 0.3mg buprenorphine is equivalent to 30mg oral morphine (or 10mg injected morphine). Oral morphine and oxycodone are dose equivalent, so 0.1mg bupe = 10mg oxycodone.

I heard sublingual bupe is dosed much differently than intranasal or injectible. It's far weaker.
