Hello All, has anyone discovered a company that will ship Clonazepam or Xanax or similiar to Ontario Canada? I have severe anxiety and have had great success with benzo's in the past. I haven't been able to get into a psychiatrist here in Toronto with waiting lists out of this world so in the meantime...thanks for any help you can provide.

you can go to a regular doc, doesn't have to be a pdoc. if they see your need is urgent, they will prescribe it. you must have a script for this in canada, though.

Just a reminder not to use this site to exchange information that could be used to import into the US prescription medication without a prescription:

OOps sorry Dr. Bob, it won't happen again. I had missed that wise and fair rule.
Thank you to the posters who suggested a family doctor. I left work yesterday in a state of anxiety and went to the ER (there is no hope of a doctor's appointment same day here) and lucked out with a gem of a physician who gave me some of her valuable time and then referral me to a highly recommended psychoanalyst supreme who I can see tomorrow!
In the meantime, she prescribed Celexa (one I haven't tried before, starting at 20 mgs and increasing slowly)along with .5 mg Clonazepam if needed. She dismissed the suggestion of Xanax immediately - it would appear that most doctor's lean away from Xanax. Any explanations to offer? Obsessive minds need to know lol.
I Love this Site BTW. Thanks Again.

Xanax is one of the more fun benzos; thus, doctors are afraid of it. I used to take Ativan for panic attacks (which it can stop cold within 10 minutes), but since I started in on hydrocodone, I've never had an attack; so I don't use it anymore.

Addendum:
Also, beznos don't tend to be used for generalized anxiety; usually just for panic attacks and the like.

xanax is a shorter acting benzo than clonazepam, and tends to be more readily abused. the Dr., not knowing your history, would definitely prescribe on the lower end of the spectrum. once you see your pdoc (which i'm glad you got immediate help with), they may adjust your meds accordingly. best of luck ...

Thanks for your friendly posts bsj & krazybird lady. Found a nice doctor (I just suffered a miscarriage of our first child, I hate my present job though it's hard to imagine because I presently live in the Caribbean - how could that be stressful? LONG STORY. But my original post was meant to find a reputable dispenser online, didn't know it was illegal. Anyways, I'm nervous about flying and spending a week with my ailing parents who I love dearly but drive me crazy at times...I am going "Home for the Holidays" and have a PO Box there so I wanted to have something sent there to get me through holiday stress, an oxymoron of sorts, but if you have ever seen the movie of that name with Holly Hunter you'll picture what I go through when...just remember the fish lol) who prescribed Celexa and Clonazepam for me and best of all it's all covered by my health plan here.
Best Wishes All.
