I would like some advice on handling something. A poster has posted twice on two different boards here about using alcohol for anxiety. This person has listed abuse problems in the past.I feel the need to post "ain't a good plan" messages.
I realize what I post will make no difference, so should I just shut up and ignore?
It bothers me and I'm not sure how to handle this for the future. My thanks in advance.

kelly..
i know perfectly well that i am using alcohol as a "medication"
perhaps this poster does as well...it may sound like a "copout" but it sure does help slow things down for some ..especially mixing them with meds..
dangerous?..very
"aint a good plan".. absolutely not
you are a very kind person for being concerned for your fellow posters kelly..
you should feel good that you have such a wonderful heart..
cheers

Thank you so for your kind words. They made my day. I am concerned and I know my words are nothing the poster probably doesn't already know, but I have this complusion to say something ----- maybe I should look into MY complusions - ha, ha.
Again, thanks so.

jyl,
Taking things "in stride" is something I'm trying to cultivate and kbl's post didn't really bother me..... however, I think it was very nice of you to notice it might.
Both posts have added to my understanding and that's what I was looking for.
Thanks,
Kelly

Hey Zen... how are ya? Yeah, I'm doing followups on some of what I find in my email. I appreciate your words on social. I'm not reading much, other than the ones that come to me. I find I DO miss it and, for the most part, I really like being a part of this wacky (meant in the nicest way) community. I learn alot that's good!
Hope you're doing well... or as well as we can.
