calling amphetamine users (need advice)

Posted by 1980Monroe on December 30, 2003, at 23:37:14

We know the wonders of speed, it can be used for almost anything, being social, getting motivated, mood lift, keep food away, getting out of bed,anti-bordem, cram-reliever and about 1000 other things exept for sleeping.

I really use this stuff(all forms exept the needle) a bit too much, but i'm trying to get myself off with out having to go to de-tox. Man, i think i have to have it for everything now, cleaning dishes! and doing stuff throught the day. I cut down my usage and everything, but still its hard to quit! you know what i mean. I take b-12 and alot of vitamens, but those dont do or help anything. Is there any experienced people who know what to do? I could use some wise advice. Thanks anyone who gives feedback.

well all i can say is quit. amphetamines screwed up my family life. My dad started taking it and began beating my mom, going crazy, and ultimately leaving me and my mother in a trailor park to face a messed up life. My dad now needs to take pills all the time or else he'll get wacky, he's ok now but for a few years we had to stay in witness protection. Buck up and quit, because you're ruining your life and you don't even know it. It will eat you up from the inside. Alot of things are hard to quit, but the kind of damage you are, and will end up, doing to yourself will be irreversable. just quit. go seek help from a professional if you have to, but quitting shouldnt be impossible, just don't seek the stuff out. QUIT!!!

If anything can be inspiration for getting off of Meth, I would say that this would be it.

Just 10 years, went from a beautiful lady to basically nothing more than a walking corpse. Not to mention what it does to your insides.

Please do stop, I hate this drug, I wish the bastard who first made it were alive so I could re-kill him. I'm so sorry for you

Much Love,
Jade

Although I agree that high-doses of meth used regularly are baaad - those pics are DEA propaganda. Sure of it.

Yes, I believe I have seen those photos before and as I recall she was a crack addict living on the streets of Miami, and I think there is more than ten years in between those mugshots, which are the result not only of crack usage but a certain *lifestyle*. Nonetheless, meth can be dangerous and addictive, however, in my opinion not nearly to the extent of crack and/or intravenous cocaine usage..
