my dagnam mother left a leaking can of propane just outside (on our welcome matt) our front door (which has huge gaps in it) and it was out there for about 12 hours while we all slept in the room right next to it. I moved it when i woke up, but i'm wondering if seeing a doctor would be a good idea, being that when i opened the door i could smell a strong scent of propane.

Propane and carbon monoxide are not the same thing. If you were inhaling propane, it would most likely make you dizzy and forgetfull. That is how you would know what effect it had. There probably is nothing a doctor can do. You just wait for the effects to go away, no driving. Propane can make you high. If you feel realy bad you can call a doctor.
