I have not posted for awhile, but briefly, I had a severe addiction to ambien--I used it to withdraw from the world and used it night and day. It has been a year since I had treatment and have never had a problem with any other med. There was just something about ambien that was very seductive. I have not had a major depression in over a year and am on Wellbutrin, Lamictal and Remeron. But I have chronic insomnia and am up at least 3 times a night no matter what time I go to bed. Does anyone know if Lunesta would be ok to try? My psych is reluctant but I really need to get good sleep. Thanks

Mandy,
Have you tried doxepin or any other tricyclic ADs for insomnia? My low dosage of 25mg doxepin helps me sleep soooo well and it also helps with my depression and anxiety. I understand also that it has NO tolerance or addiction issues. Perhaps you need to look in another direction for help with sleep. I'm pretty sure it can be taken with your current cocktail.
Good luck!

Have you tried trazedone. I have chronic insomnia too and trazedone (100mg) does the trick for me.
Or you could try one of the benadryl products like Tylenol PM.

I did try trazadone once but it also did not maintain my sleep. Seroquel works but I refuse to be on antiphsycotic again. Thanks for input, though
