i live in a very small town..
we have a few aa meeting a month at one of the churches...but they are "closed meetings"..i feel like i cant catch a break..
i just want to peek..

You can still visit. Closed just means that it isn't open to anyone not in or considering recovery.
The main purpose is to keep anonymity, I guess thinking that a drinker is better able to keep a secret than a non-drinker.
They won't test you. Go and enjoy yourself.
