I thought this forum was about substance USE. Everyone in this section (just about everybody) seems to be talking about not using substances. I'm a bit confused, I don't want to make people's 'gut flip' and make them 'squirreley' and all that other 12 step mumbo jumbo, you know?
I like debate but I don't want to be offensive to persons that don't deserve it. I know my veiws are edgey with the sober crowd, I was forced by the powers that be to attend the 'Church of Bill' many times because of my sins against the state, (specifically possesing illegal substances, and transgressions of that nature) so I know. I don't have any problems with the members of AA/NA, jeez we're all brothers and sisters on this planet, my problem is with the institution. AND maybe the zealots that feel their way is the only way and preach of total abstinence for everyone ("kind of like religion, "beleive in my God in my church or burn") or your doomed to suffer. I believe my opinion is from experience-as is your opinion. Oh well, I guess I will continue to post my retoric until somebody with good reason says I shouldn't. I sure do like to think and opposing veiws sure do make you think...
Besides, this is a site dealing with mental issues and I sure do have mental issues alright.

there are lots of cocktail recipes in the archive, don't fret. This isn't called the "Recovery Board" - so, yes, you can discuss Substances as defined in the FAQ. Drunk or sober, high or sinking so low, we are happy to see you.
But we still try to be supportive.

I have to agree with you...there are many different boards here to choose form, and this one is about usage.
I have barely experimented w/any type of anything (besides a lot a alcohol) except for vicodin...I really liked that. I have no idea what is in it, but I wish I had more!!
