I sometimes drink, but I'm usually scared of getting drunk in front of other people, or I'm just not in the mood to. My ex and his frineds do pot, but I wasn't into that because of social anxiety and plus I'd tried it and didn't like it. So, is there anyone who doesn't drink/ do drugs here? Sometimes I feel weird being the only one who doesn't have a beer in their hand at a party. Everyone expects me to drink now that I'm over 21. >:(

hello there, chemist here...i do not take any ``drug'' other than those prescribed by a physician (and the occasional OTC allergy medication), choose not to drink alcohol, smoke pot, or cigarettes, and take my vice in the form of caffeine - lots of it...although the merits of prescription medication vs. those of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, and so on can be debated ad nauseum, i do hope i answered your question in full...all the best, chemist

I dont do any drugs, I dont smoke but I do drink on occasion. My post above is misleading....I dont drink alot, just a dinner or going out thing. But Im a conservative drinker for sure.
I know several people who dont drink when they go out. But I find they get annoyed by the drunk people pretty quickly. Its totally cool not drinking at parties! I have two differnet groups of friends the more hard core and the more conservative when it comes to drinking and drugs and I sort of enjoy being with the ones who dont do coke (coke scares me) or smoke weed and drink till they cant do anything.

Caffeine is my true weakness as well ... but I don't think it's as bad as people suspect.

some study just found that at least one cup of coffee in the morning is good for us... keeps away some kind of disease...

Hi. I think it is great that you don't really drink or do drugs. I think it is best to follow your own beat when it comes to this topic, as it is a personal choice. If you are at a party, you should be proud of the fact that you are not dumping massive toxins into your body which WILL eventually deteriorate your health and well being. I say the only person you have to live with and be happy with is you. If others cannot accept this, maybe it is time to find new friends or social gatherings.

I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, do what your comfortable with, and if others pressure you, stay away from them when they're partying.
