I don't give a tinker's dam. I want my vodka and I want it now. I wanna get blasted. I crave a guzzle of straight out of the plastic bottle hidden in the trunk warm and nasty and explosive.
Well I got something. A beetle just crashed into my keyboard as I typed and I smooshed the poor creature. Could this be an omen? If so what? I once saw a shooting star cross the sky above me from my left to right-from north to south. I KNEW it was an omen. And experienced one of the worst years of my long and fruit loops life. Bummer drag and so it goes, and goes, and goes. Maybe if I say a special magic word a large jug of vodka will appear uner my pillow; a visit from the vodka fairy. ah I miss the days when my vice was so nice. Too bad my family doesn't. I miss bouncing off the hall walls. I miss being a jerk, altho judging by this post I'm seriously misjudging my status in the world of jerkdom. cockeyed.

There are "shooting stars" (meteors) every night (and day...you just can't see them). You can see them if you are in a dark sky location. If you were within city lights, you probably saw a fireball (a very bright meteor). Seeing one doesn't have to be an omen. :-)

I know what you mean.
Vodka, ice cold from the freezer, is the thing I miss most.
Luckily my favorite brand is not available in this country. If I were to come across a bottle of that - well no promises. I can talk myself out of the the other swill.

Since the idea here is not to post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down, could you please rephrase that so it's more clearly civil and happy?
If you or others have questions about this or about posting policies in general, or are interested in alternative ways of expressing yourself, please see the FAQ:
http://www.dr-bob.org/babble/faq.html#civil
Follow-ups regarding these issues should be redirected to Psycho-Babble Administration. They, as well as replies to the above post, should of course themselves be civil.
Thanks,
Bob
