Poppy Tea

Posted by poppycentral on June 30, 2005, at 11:17:47

Anyone still interested in this all natural alternative to APAP laden analgesics? The Holland crop is GREAT this year. High quality, low mold and HUGE.
Just inquiring as to the general opinions of their therapeutic use, or lack thereof.
A certain highly popular auction site is just about to pull the plug on their sales.
Thoughts about what is available domestically versus imported, from Canada in particular. NOT trying to sell anything here. Just interested in thoughts, comments and opinions. Peace, Cat

Hey poppycentral, what is poppytea? Never heard of it. Drank some really nice tea from the local convenience store, Arizona. Mellowed me out...which means nap time. Contains valerian. Think I'll try smoking a mixture of pipe tobacco and cumin. I love the reek of cumin and valerian. Hell, I like skunk reek. But I sure would like to get wrecked this July 4 weekend. I have to go and tolerate the fireworks. Maybe I can sniff some of that kiddy glue they use in kindergarten...better still, I'll drown myself in bug spray and let the deet soak into my very innermost being. Anyway, better living thru chemistry as Ronnie Regan used to say. cockeyed.

Cockeyed My Sweet............ OK, I get it. You are toying with me. That is fine. I had no idea as to your comedic personality when I expressed sincere concern to your post regarding Listerine.
I feel a little foolish at having been 'had' so to speak. But, at least I did the right thing initially by being concerned for your health.
I am certain that you know what Poppy Tea is. If you do not, Google it. There is a wealth of information out there. One site in particular is a great source, www.poppies.org - Should you be interested in trying it and wondering about a reliable, reputable source for the requisite ingredient have a look at www.poppycentral.com
I am sure that, based on my User Name and the URL title, you know who the proprietor of said website is.
Yes, it is me. Yes, I do make money on the Internet. But, the ONLY reason that I replied to your specific post was that I was sincerely concerned that you were in a bad way and seriously contemplating drinking Listerine.
But, now that I see that you are merely a 'funny guy', I won't worry anymore. Peace, Cathy

Hi, I've got some questions:

1. Is it legal to buy/sell/use these poppy pods?
2. How do the effects of poppy tea compare to drugs like vicodin, heroin, hash and pot?
3. How is it for pain relief?
4. How much "use" (cups of tea?) can you get out of a pod?
