went to a ball game. The big boys, the bar teams, weren't playing but the local all star little leaguers were practicing. I was feeling no pain on gator and grain. Met some friends. They were bummed that only kids were playing. But I couldn't get over how well they played and how well they were being coached, etc. Evidently I enjoyed myself too much. My buddies tell me I was yelling at the kids making a fool of myself. Once I could play baseball-fifty years ago. It was a treat to watch these kids. And I expressed my self. "Way to hit" nice play, ...NO ABUSE...no, you stink. But my pals tell me I was a cause for concern on the part of some of the parents. The thing that bothers me is that I joined the parents and complimented them on the way the kids played and how enjoyable it was to see kids having fun.
My friends took off to get high, hit the bar and shoot some pool.
And It just now dawned on me that they were, shall I say "carrying" and did not want any undue attention being directed toward them. I drove home in a good mood. No cops on my tail. No complaints until today. And that from one of my fellow drunks. Gee, maybe, I'll stay sober. Stick to red bull and strong coffee.
But I'll go to the games and watch the kids. It's too damn bad that in today's climate you can't show a kid how to throw or the proper way to hold the bat with out the grim spectre of possible molestation. it's a mean old world out there. cockeyed.

Yes. It is a shame :-(
I've heard some pretty horrible stories about security being called when gramps was asked to go pick up little x from primary (grammer) school...

my boys played hard ball for many years...
one game a really bad abusive coach (daddy) was out of control...he complained the bats were too heavey..he sent his kids to get lighter bats from his trunk...(very old model) his daughters fingers were slammed shut ...the screaming...the concern from everyone...we all wanted to help..we were all lost (only the keys could set her free)...
he never raised his voice at any game after that..he "high fived " and " hugged" ...
what was the point again?
