is Xanax similar to alcohol in stimulus effects?

Posted by rjlockhart98 on July 22, 2005, at 11:39:58

I dont know where i read, but i heard Xanax boosts the reward center. THat is very wierd to hear about a benzo.

I right now am taking Clonazepam 5 mg for Severe panic disorder. I took 2mg, still i am riding it down, klonopin takes a while to start working.

I now understand why my doctor will only treat panic with clonazepam or Lorazepam. Which i have been both on.

2 months ago i was 6mg of Ativan, i didnt do much, Klonopin is much better.

Does anyone know how they have similar properties (Alprazolam and Alcohol)

Do yourself a favor stay away from the benzo's!

I took 1 mg of klonopin on a daily basis for a little over a year started to experience tolerance withdrawal so I stopped taking it 9 months ago and have been suffering since.

This is by far the worst hell Ive ever been thru!
