My 31 yr old son was on meth and has been sober for 5 months. He's taking effexor 75mg, but stays tired and unmotivated. He's switching to Wellbutrin. any suggestions or problems with this

he could maybe ask the doc about adding a dopamine agonist drug to his antidepressant like L-Deprenyl or Mirapex, or Bromocritpine since meth addiction can totally "burn out" the brains dopamine system.

I have tried Wellbutrin and I did not notice a difference at all... I was curious if it has been working at all for you?? I am on Topamax and Adderall and Xanax... have been on Wellbutrin and Zonegran which neither had any effects on me. The Tompamax failed the 1st time but I am doing well with it this time... Drinking gallons of water and gatorade... LOL...
