I've been drinking every night for the past 4 months. Before then I drank fairly frequently for about 6 months. Saturday I woke up with a horrible hangover and felt sick all day. I decided the lay off the drinking for a while. Now today I feel more sick than I did yesterday. Could this be a symptom from alcohol withdrawal?
I felt okay this morning, then I went out shopping. I tried on a few clothes, then started feeling sick and like I was going to pass out. Now I'm home and I still feel sick. It finally occured to me that this could be alcohol withdrawal. Then I remembered how it says not to abruptly stop drinking while on Wellbutrin because of the chance of seizures. So now I'm kind of scared. Any advice?

Should I drink something alcoholic? Should I stop taking the Wellbutrin? I'm too scared to ask my pdoc.

there are warnings about changing your drinking habits while on Wellbutrin without consulting your p-doc.
I'm sure there are ways to decrease or stop drinking, but only the T can help you do it safely without seizures apparently...
Good luck!

I meant to thank you two for you responses. I ended up being alright. I just freaked myself out that night.
But now I'm drinking again, sigh...

think of it this way...
now you have time to discuss it with your p-doc before you decide to quit again!
There is a silver lining to this particular cloud!!
Best of luck,

I've found that I either don't drink enough for the side-effects to occure or I'm just lucky. I usualy drink 3 drinks a night but some times I drink more and quit the next day because I feel bad and nothing happens just that I feel alcohol withdraw.
