I have been taken off stimulnats because of reason of abuse.
"Life will be better, you will cope" Yea... life is a bit miserable, well actaully im danm miserable almost all the time danmmit who ever said that. My mother is so dumb, but i understand because of repeated times of abuse, insomnia, and crazy stuff.
Oh yea, im coping BADLY. Im Xanax 6mg, Prozac 30, Temazepam 30mg. Well at least i dont have to be off everything.
Im serious, being off it is just hell.
Im taking Xanax tonight to go to sleep.
I cant stop, i mean i was good, productive on it.
Im increasing Prozac for this very reason.
Well im just glad im not a street person.......... i stay at home "sheltered"

I can see this thread is a little bit outdated, but what the heck. Amphetamine works like this; It stimulates the release of dopamine, and then it also blocks the re-uptake of dopamine. When it is chronically abused, the dopamine receptors become depleted, etc, etc, and a dopamine deficit occurs. This lack of dopamine results in a general feeling of unhappiness, a-motivational tendencies, and physical discomfort.
I think a better medicine than prozac would be wellbutrin, because it blocks dopamine re-uptake and would goto work on the neurotransmitters causing your problems. I feel as though serotonin may not be so involved in your situation. Wellbutrin is known to reduce nicotine and opiate cravings, why not speed? Certainly it will help repair the imbalance most likely causing your problems.
If your still having problems, and you think you can handle not railing your wellbutrin, then I would go for that.
Good luck.
This is the end of the thread.
