Yes, you are in danger.

First, you are in legal danger. If law enforcement catches you, you could be facing criminal charges for drug possession.

From smoking pot, you are in danger of developing smoking related diseases like lung cancer, emphysema, and throat cancer.

From cocaine, you are in danger of causing damage to your nose and sinuses, and you could be causing damage to your heart and cardiovascular system.

Both pot and cocaine can worsen depression, in different ways, and also taking those street drugs could interfere with Zoloft.

Does you pdoc know that you are using pot and cocaine? Maybe if you talk about why it is difficult for you to quit, he can add other meds to take care of those symptoms in a medically safe, legal way.

It's not the pot so much as the COKE. Which works by releasing all your neurotransmitters at once -- feels good, doesn't it?

And then it feels like bloody hell when they're all gone.

I'm saying coke is so completely obscuring the effects, of any AD, one might as well not bother with them.

Good luck!

Well if you addicted to coke, you should try a legal cocktail such as welbutrin. I know that coke stimulates dopamine. Welbutrin should help thus.
Im not sure about pot. Im sure a blunt here and there isnt gonna kill ya.

How are you both tired wired w/o other drugs?

I didn't understand how you are both tired & wired by just taking the Zoloft and not the other drugs? You can't be tired & wired at the same time!

The main problem is that the Zoloft prolongs the duration of effects of Cocaine by up to twice as long & potentiates its effects so you are more likely to overdose, & less likely to quit because of the increased pleasurable effects.

Substitution of Ritalin or Wellbutrin SR instead of the Cocaine is a good way to quit if you are addicted. Personally, I think I got higher from snorting Ritalin than Cocaine & the euphoria lasts way longer anyways. But Ritalin is alot easier to quit (snorting) & just use like a normal person (orally)- it works better & lasts 3 times when you swallow the pill rather than abuse it anyways. I also read about a few medical studies where cokeheads were successfully weaned off the 'white' with Ritalin.

Stay far, far away from amphetamines like Adderall, Dexedrine, Dextrostat, Desoxyn- with your history, you will become a full on speed-freak almost guaranteed!

The marijuana will probably just lower your motivation & turn you into a pot head "burnout".
If you can't sleep, maybe try a small sub-therapeutic dose (7.5-15 mg) of the non-addictive anti-depressant Remeron an hour before bedtime.

Three!

Maybe *you* can't, but *I* can, I spent my LIFE there--in a perpetual combination of hypervigilance and exhuastion, and later on, in Mixed States. That's what it *is.* Wired and wiped out, at the same time.

I don't think it's helpful to make these kinds of blanket statements to others, especially in subject lines. ..

But even more than that, I see you relying on published references instead of people's own experiences. . .and I'm wondering, Does Three give priority to outside sources over his own experience, in the same way?

I'd love you to have some peace, and wellness. . .and with all our essential dabbling in chemicals, there is still the required ingredient of coming to know, accept and love our own being.

The meds are just the cast--maybe permanent, maybe not---on what is broken in order that we may hobble faster, in less pain, towards wellness, which is wholeness in the self.

Take good care,
Zo

Thank you for your message men, I'm really worried about my self, and I think many people in the world are too. I would love to have trustfull source of information about all this subjects, what, when, how.... I hate to be lonely and expect others to understand how I feel, depresion is not an easy subject. neither are drugs.... but, it seems like it's just a big neverending circle I'm in. Have you ever tried to commit suicide, well, I0ve tried many times, but I think I wasn't brave enough to do it right. Now my level of depresion is a little lower, but I still think about killing my self. About harming me. But now at least I'm aware that I love my life and that I have to make something good about it. I need to do what's right for me but I also want to keep doig the things I like (drugs)... meeeen what a mess am I!

Anyway.. thk u guys.... take care and have a nice day!
