Why not patch form of Nardil insteadof Selegiline?

If Nardil is the most superior of the MAOIs, why isn't its manufacturer looking to put it into a transdermal patch form like Somerset pharmaceuticals is doing for Selegiline?

Wouldn't it be the most ideal candidate for transdermal delivery?

Not everything can be delivered via the transdermal route.

Most likely because there is a bigger market for selegiline. Selegiline is used in Parkinson's disease where Nardil isn't.
