Topamax question for sheupsidedown

Posted by MelD on December 11, 2003, at 19:24:14

You recently posted about Topamax and dehydration. Ive been on 50mg Topamax for about 3 mos and am constantly thirsty. If i dont carry water with me, i get desperated for a drink of it. Did you ever experence a salty taste around your mouth and lips? Sometimes it is so strong i get a bit nauseated, as if i had swallowed some seawater. Thanks, Melodie

MelD...
No that doesnt happen to me....but I am constantly thirsty with a dry mouth and I must carry a gallon of water with me everywhere...it never feels as if I can ever quench my thirst...
ughh...
The dehydration is wrecking havoc on my body...I went to get my blood drawn the other day and my vein collapsed (?!) after she pricked it...I have to go back another day...I dont know how much more water I can drink!!!
