Hello,
I was wondering how long Lexapro lasts each time you take it. I
take it at night and it helps me get up a little easier in the
morning, but, I heard that it only lasts 12 hours so does that mean
it's not helping me during the day? It seems to be helping.

It lasts more than 12 hours. Maybe 12 hours is the half life. I'm not sure.
There will be less than 50% left in your blood after the half life.

So if you take it at the same time each day, you will only have slightly more than half of it left in your blood when you take your next dose.

This is the end of the thread.
