I took 25mg of Zoloft this morning and by lunch time I thought I was going to jump out of my skin! I had to go home at lunch and take some Klonopin!
As I recall in the past when I have taken Zoloft it made me hypomanic.
I am easily effected by small doses now for some reason.
Is it possible that 37.5 of Effexor might be better?
I don't know why these SSRIs make me crazy!

Are you bipolar? Love Phillipa or depression only?

I know exactly what you mean. 50 mgs of Zoloft and I thought I literally might die. This was years ago and it was such an awful experience I haven't touched an SSRI since (and never will). I'm glad they help some people though.

I think I may be mildly bipolar. I'm not a raging mess like my father was or like my sister.
Before my hysterectomy I had terrible mood swings, usually tied to hormanal changes during the month. Now I'm off that terrible roller coaster. I'm just really depressed. I realize now that it is probably more than hormones.
I never had any hypomanic problems with Celexa or Lexapro. Couldn't take the side effects of those.
Effexor is ok, but sometimes hard to sleep.
This is the end of the thread.
