Hey, regarding your question about Emsam, what are you taking it for? Bipolar, depression, anxiety?
I take 3mg of Klonopin per day, great for anxiety.

Chronic depression that has some bipolar tones in the form of agitation & mild cycling (I don't think my dr knows how to classify me). I have had times w/ anxiety, but I think they were medication induced. I do have some Xanax on hand, but I haven't tried Klonopin.
So have you found Emsam to help with the anxiety, or does it make it worse?
I know they all seem to be comorbid (depression, anxiety, etc.), but are anxiety & agitation closely related? What types of reactions have you had to other medication? Anything paradoxical? Does NyQuil make you wired?

Well Emsam is like Prozac, it is designed to give you a boost of energy for depression, which I did not like, you know. the extra energy. However, I also take Seroquel and Klonopin and both seem to really hit on the anxiety.
Feel free to ask anymore Qs. Good luck with Emsam and keep us posted. One thing about meds: Each one affects everyone differently. It is a very safe med. Go for it.
