Has anyone used New Chapter's St. John's SC27?

Yes I have about 5 years ago. I remember what felt like a very strong serotonin feeling. I remember once driving to the airport at night and remember becoming fascinated by the lights on the highway. Was more like a psychotropic experience as if I was high. Very strong stuff.

Did the trippy effect wear off eventually? I guess not. This sounds like the way I react to some SSRIs in the beginning of treatment.

So your did it help depression or anxiety?

Thanks for your response!

yes I remember years ago when I first tried zoloft I experienced the trippy feeling. I no longer get that response from ssris. I guess that's why I felt the sc27 experience was a strong serotonin response because it felt like zoloft did many years ago. I would get mesmerized by traffic lights while driving.
I only stayed on the sc27 one month. I guess I stopped because it was more of a psychotropic experience than an ad response. I certainly did feel good but not something I wanted to experience every day.

Thanks for your response. If you don't mind my asking, what are you doing now for depression? Are you bipolar or do have straight up depression?

I have a post below. I think I need something more than sjw right now.

At the sjw forum called sjwinfo.org New Chapter is one of the three potent brands discussed. The other two are Kira and Perika. My favorite was Kira. Perika was kind of downing, not upping, while New Chapter was downright depressing. We all react differently. Probably the biggest trend I've seen at sjwinfo is that people need to try 3 to 5 brands to find which is their magical one. That good one might be a so called clinical potent brand, but is often the el cheapos from Rite Aid or WalMart. Actually the best sjw I ever had was WalMart's Spring Valley. To me the cheap ones feel more dopaminergic while the clinical ones feel more serotonergic.

Thanks bleauberry. I actually just upped my Zoloft dose to 200 mgs just to see what happened and I notice a considerable difference in the way I feel, much brighter and less anxious. Yesterday my brain felt like it was swollen and I just wanted to shut my eyes. We will see if I continue to feel better.

I am still very interested in SJW. Maybe I will check out sjwinfo.org.
