Also both.

Additionally, at what point do you stop dreaming of neon self- sufficient?

Sometimes I wonder if this is it.

Luckily, I am able to work and care for my self.

I'm not in such a good job as before I had my breakdown, but I am slowly working my way back from the brink.

I do care for myself, though I often wonder how long I can keep up the financial end.

Yes! Not as much right now, but I was very disabled at one point. I plan on not being disabled at all one day.

Does anyone struggle with time moving so slow? I sit at my cubicle and feel trapped with how much time I have left to try and get through.

It's hard, and I think it's getting harder. I use to have more "not-as-bad" intervals. Today it was bad all day. A friend made plans for a little road trip for the weekend and I am so down that I want to cancel it.

I'm usually good at MAKING myself do things, but we all know how old that gets.

I am going to meet with a counselor about disability. I have 5 more months at work that I think I could qualify for short-term disability, but I don't know if I can make it that long.

i might not be alive without SSDI and the Medicare and Medicaid that come with it. My parents I talk to daily, and as far as I've come I still have a long way to go. I call my Dad twice a day to tell him what my plans are for the day and that I've gotten them done. I have trouble doing things just for me. Some of it is financial. Most of what I spend time doing these days isn't fun but necessary for me to get on with my life. I like to spend money but find there's nothing to spend. I feel guilty buying a book at a used bookstore. If I could manage to find a job in my old field, it would help immensely. Working through that challenge while still having days of nasty symptoms is terribly hard. If I didn't have my parents to call... I'm not sure I'd get much done. but yeah, without the government check and medical coverage I might have given up.

I am not able to care for myself. Currently, I am relying on my wife heavily financially and otherwise. I personally am at a loss as to what to do about my anxiety disorder. I moved out of my mom's house when I was in college, over 20 years ago, and never gone back, but I've always felt like I am on the verge of homelessness due to my anxiety disorder. I taught in private and public schools for a decade (the 1990s) without being on meds, but it was extremely difficult. I lost my teaching job in 2000, hooked up writing test items for the last decade, but now ... I'm in limbo again. I'm taking 80mg Viibryd right now, into 6th week, it's not really potent enough. Many failed SSRI trials. I feel humiliated most of the time because this anxiety disorder is not who I am inside.
