too much norepinephrine

Posted by rjlockhart37 on October 19, 2020, at 19:56:05

well...since i got out of rehab, they had me on nuerotntin, but i'm having alot of anxiety, if i lay in the bed, i wake up at 6am, takes me about an hour to go back to sleep, then i get up and work on projects online. I really want to use the most maximym creativity there is, go abstract and use art at the same time.

Anyways, i finally figured something out, its too much norepinephrine, the alertness, i can watch tv, or workout really hard, but my dopamine levels are low, but at the same time NE is high, so your alert but have low dopamine, and GABA.

It's been a hell of ride since i got off phenibut, and the reacction of withdrawl i had from it. Hospitalization for 1 week, then rehab, but this rehab was not for drugs, they put me into mental health unit, which we go over goals and stuff. Really good program, but its ended now. I have too much, alertness defeinty, anxiety definetly....

beta blocker i don't know, they ripped me off diazepam and nuvigil in the unit, once your a unit, there is no way out unless medical leave. First night i stayed there i stayed awake for 2 days in the unit, they finally loaded me on librium because they i guess researched about phenibut and siezures are a reaction in withdrawl....i was 200mg of librium then slowly tapered off

this anxiety has really, you know use and anxiety to do things, but it feel more like a sting, rather than anxiety, like a stinging in the nerve .... anticipation over nothing, cardio increase, sweat

anyways, there is no medical adivce for this, i need to get discussed with medical treatment. Too much norpehiphrine is too much alertness and you can't sleep, on the nerve edge feeling

i feel stressed because i want to be part of a movement that's happening right now. People who choose to suffer, suffer. But this is like nerve thing, you know maybe it is best to just get out of the house but there's....job, i work on projects and i work on hard. The COVID-19 in US is really stressed out people.

anxiety, but more of a sting to it. This is public board, but i've isolated so long, if whole internet heard it, yes i would regret maybe being too much loud mouth but at least its being heard

Rj....I think you are almost right on the money. We seem to have similar things to deal with. Can you ask them about Lyrica...it is like Neurontin but much smoother, and it puts me in a nice chill feel. I found it works well with Prozac, and I now use it with Effexor. Effexor sucks, but I maxed out Prozac at 120mg a day!!

There is also another good, anti-anxiety amino acid supplement. It is called Taurine, and it is very cheap. Risperdal, for the 'wired' agitation, works really good too. AND...beta blocker wise...only one worked good fpr me...it is a unique beta-blocker, actually, called Trandate. It won't likely depress you.

yeah im in nuerotonin 400mg 3 times a day...it needs to be increased a nd yes lyrica is better i've been on it, it makes a better mood.

I just went to workout and really crammed myself hard and now im at home, exhausted. This day again was anxiety, but after just strenmously working out im fine now, for now....

my doctor was going to use Propranolol one time, but that was it. We phased into diazepam because of withdrawl from phenibut.

Thanks im really gridding this time, hopefully it will go away, today i just paced the house back and forth, i didnt have any dopamine to get online or get on the laptop, none, it was norepinephrine, thats all i did earlier today was pace the floor. Now im back and im better. Hopefully my doctor will increase the nuerontin. Lyrica is so much more better, for the mood, but it's cieling dose is 600mg daily. Nuerontin can go higher, i've seen people on like 3600mg nuerontin daily, like 5 800mg tablets. Lyrica is more potent than gapapentin.

Yes, today I was BLASTING high, hypo-manic, in the vitamin store, sweating bullets...non-stop...un FREAKIN believable!!! I swear, I felt like I could kill..like the world was going to end.

Since I am diabetic, and Lyrica is prescribed for diabetic neuropathy, my doc prescribes me 900mg of Lyrica a day...but I binge sometimes..and crank it up to almost 2000mg's...whoohoo!! My "stack" of vitamins include B1, B2, and Lecithen for the choline....and it all cool's your jets, without crushing you with depression.

I am Bipolar 2, and the rapid cycling is just plain torture!! Antidepressants send me to the moon, and mood stabalizers crush me into depression. Can you get Nabilone from your doc? It is synthetic cannabis, pot, and it also 'chills'.

See, I need like tons, tons of benzo's and their cousins, at times. Clonidine also works AWESOME to combat agitation, hyperarousal.

Two meds I am going to ask to try, which I have been on before, are Moclobemide (Reversible MAOI) and bromazepam, (I am in Canada..so can get these.) Maybe add a beta-blocker, and lithium. I was on Moclobemide and bromazepam, and it both energizes and relaxes...no sexual side effects...way, way better than Welbutrin, or usual SSRI/SNRI. It actually enhances sexuality, and man, I am almost 51, and have lost ALL interest in sex. It's time for a change...

So, those are my upcoming strategies in the life-long battle. Let me know how you are doing....I will share all my info too. Depression and anxiety are two heads of the same coin.

Best in the struggle...
Jay

I'm new to Lyrica but I'm finding my mood is almost too bright at only 50-75 mgs. If it has the same effect on you as me, it could be causing some mania perhaps?

Slight chance of mania...but after being on this drug for over 10 years, just dose it moderately. Don't be afraid to feel "good". I found Lyrica makes me very social. Best drug I ever tried.

Can you drive a car on it?

> Can you drive a car on it?

I actually had to stop. I was getting lost in my own neighborhood and really struggling with any kind of cognitive lifting. I think there's a synergistic issue with the 100 mgs Lamictal I take.

My doctor talked about me seeing a neurologist based upon how badly I was impacted.
