prozac...how long does it take to work?

dogma on prozac is thatit takes several weeks to be effective.
responses in shorter periods of time often thought to be "placebo effect"
i'm interested in people's experiences and their interpretations of those expereinces in this regard.
1-is your experience either as dispenser or user?
1-how long does it takeprozac to work?
2-does it ever have an effect in a shorter period of time?
3-how about side effex? after how many doses might a significant side effect appear.
