Adderall is a combination of amphetamines and there are many people with ADD who use it and are most pleased with it. There is a wealth of information on the Web about medcations used in the treatment of ADD and a search using ADHD as the key word would elicit a flood of informaton. I would not want to do without Dexedrine; it has made all the difference to me. Of all the meds I take, this one has given me the fewest problems. Be sure you go to a doctor fully capableof making an accurate diagnosis, ADD is not something that develops when you are older. I highly recommend a psychiatrist or a neurologist. I went to a doctor who was both. Good luck to yoo and your husband.
