breathalyzer accuracy & meds

Posted by Patty on February 20, 1999, at 21:04:24

Last summer my son charged with DUI. State dropped the 'driving while intoxicated' as he passed the field sobriety tests and cruiser had video that showed he was in control. Being charged with per se violation (breathalyzer) and tested at .012 since then had a friend test positive for alcohol consumption and had not been drinking. So......am wondering if combo of Effexor and Wellbutrin (and a few beers) could have "enhanced" the calibration of the machine. I'm told these things have about a 30% disparity and certainly are infallible. Anyone have some inside knowledge of this issue? (Or outside knowledge......I don't care.)
Thanks!
