Dear Tina.
I can't tell you anything about Lythium,
But I can tell you about shock Treatment!(ECT)
I'm sure It works on some people, but I have never
met any of them!For me it did not work.in fact it
made my life a mess. I had 9-12 treatments done
about 4 years ago.and what it did was wipe out all
of my short term memory, and most of my long term.
I could not remember what my children liked to eat,
play,or even how it get around town,I was still
very depressed,but after the ECT I had a hard time
I was no longer the same person!nor could I remember
what I was like before the shock.
You know just think about it.they will send shock
waves through your body/brain! what good can come from that?
I am now haveing neurology problems(My nervous system)
could it be from the ECT we can't prove that it's not!
I know if I had to do it all over again!
I would stay as far away from the shock table!
Just something to think about!
I did not speak to any one that had gone through
this type of treatment, I only wish I had!!!!
