I have never taken an antidepressant before and had been feeling like my moodiness was just a part of who I was now and that I had lost touch with "how to feel happy". My moods go up and down, but for the last couple of years my down periods have been far outweighing my ups. I am afraid of the side effects since sleepiness has been one of my problems and I have children to keep up with. If anyone could give me feedback with any of their experiences with celexa it would be greatly appreciated!

Doc and discuss your fears. Don't worry - that's their

I agree, go a head and try it. I did. It wasnt that bad, mentally it made me
feel pretty good, I wish I could have stayed on it
but it messed my skin in some places. That cleared up as
soon as I stopped taking it. Give it a shot and my advise
is, if you have a bad side effect from it and cant
get in touch with your doc, just stop taking it and then
talk with you doc. I dont think its a problem to
just stop taking an AD if you having allegic reactions
to it. Thats my advise, Give it a shot, if you hate
what it does to you, quit it.
Sincerely
dave
